 Brandon Gallery announced that Elizabeth Taft, an award winning portrait artist, will hold a special showing in its Etcetera Gallery during February. Proficient in oil and acrylics, Taft entitles her Feb. 1-28, 2010, exhibition: “About the Face” in which she displays portraits and portrait styles that reflect her “love of the beauty around her and in others”. She says, “Ever since childhood I have been drawing pictures of people to tell their stories. Each face has a story to tell and my job is to capture it with the most integrity that I can; and when I do, their stories become a small part of my own." |
