Fallbrook Brandon Gallery

Evelyn is a California native, born in Vallejo. She began painting after moving to the DeLuz area in 1982. What began as a hobby became a rewarding and creative enterprise.

Evelyn works in various media; watercolor, acrylics, and pastel (her favorite). "I like to try new and different ways of painting, it's a great way to keep myself challenged. The true joy of painting is to see your thoughts and ideas come alive via a brush or pastel stick."

She has been able to further her art education and develop her painting skills in workshops and classes with the following teachers: Alex Chidichimo, Ted Goerchner, Mary Tomaskevitch, Jack Ragland, B.J. Wilson, Carol Katchen, Ken Goldman, and Linda Doll.

Evelyn has won numerous awards in art competitions and regional shows.
