Brandon Gallery's Mary TomaskevitchBrandon Gallery has a long time presence in the Fallbrook Art community. It was organized in 1977 by three foresighted artists who needed a space to show their work. Mary Tomaskevitch, Jeanne Shanahan and Virginia Pilose created a presence for showing art from humble beginnings. One such space was on Brandon Street, a name they have carried to 119 North Main Street to their present location at 105 North Main Street. Brandon Gallery became a non profit organization in 2001 when it came under the umbrella of The Fallbrook Village Association.

Brandon Gallery usually has approximately 30 working members. They jury and hang "guest artists" to fulfill the 35 hanging artists required for financial maintenance. The members' artwork is changed bi monthly. Each month guest artists' work may change the look of the venue. Jurying is conducted at every monthly meeting.

A more recent addition has been the creation of the Etcetera Gallery. This space was formerly occupied by The Book Nook. When it grew and moved close by, a space was created for more art work, Members designated the purpose of this space to have some interesting facet of art displayed on a monthly basis. A high standard is required and some local children's art is included several times a year.

Every Christmas Brandon decorates and usually has a small tree in the window. This year the members will be creating small works to be sold at $100 or less. These works will be displayed on two of the movable walls in the front gallery.
